Coffin/Nest, 2007-2018, performative video installation, textile, recycled clothing, strings (varying fabrics and amounts).
In this performance, I wove a circular nest from clothes I collected from friends and people I knew. This project was inspired by mass graves in Iraq,
where the only thing remaining to identify people was their clothes.
